Silly Santa Watercolor Print

Hi - I am posting my lastest creation of Christmas watercolor paintings today.
This  is a new watercolor holiday  print Silly Santa that I painted using watercolors and watercolor pencil.

Using the two together you can create a nice effect by outline the watercolor with a color pencil. Then after outlining you can use a small round brush with water and further 'paint' the outline by going over it with the wet brush. My favorite paper to paint on is Arches.  Check out my new freecraftpattern.com site for an opportunity to download the outline for this painting to create your own silly Santa.

I can't resist the temptation of playing with pictures without having to paint. I used Marylin Monroe as an example here and turned her into a pretty witch

I used my favorite program Microsoft Picture it - Publish it. It is an easy version of Photo Shop. I love it and use it so much; I have an extra copy of it - in case something happens to the program I have now. When ever I scan and crop a painting of fine, I use this program to contrast and size my art into a perfect jpeg for future storage.
